Welcome to PrideScoop! We are a social media platform driven to provide a safe space for members of the LBGTQ community and allies to connect and communicate. We are always working to ensure that we align our actions with that purpose. These Community Guidelines should help you understand how to act within the community and help you understand what to expect from others on the site.
We encourage your feedback and aim to respond to your comments as soon as possible. While we do moderate this community, we welcome open discussion.
To help everyone enjoy the site, we ask that when you post, you keep in mind the following:
- PrideScoop is a forum to discuss LGBTQ issues. We welcome people of all identities, as long as they are welcoming to the LGBTQ community, and expect that you respect that other people in the community have had different life experiences and may have a different perspective to yours.
- We don’t allow user content that is derogatory toward anyone on the basis of sexual orientation, gender, religion, race, ethnicity, age or disability. Defamatory, harassing, indecent, offensive, profane, discriminatory, misleading, unlawful or threatening content are also prohibited. Personal attacks, name-calling, trolling and other abusive content seeking to embarrass, or bully will not be tolerated.
- User content that promotes self-harm, terrorism, or images that glorifies violence will be removed from the site. Content that threatens violence, constitutes illegal porn or revenge porn will also be removed.
- Spamming on this site will not permitted.
- Accuracy of information matters. PrideScoop is not a place for fake news, and we will remove posts that spread misinformation.
- The PrideScoop community is a public place. Don’t post personal information that you would not be comfortable sharing with a stranger. We recommend that you don’t post any information that may identify you or anyone else, such as your address, email address or phone number.
- We reserve the right to delete comments at our discretion and block any repeat offenders. We will remove content that is fraudulent, deceptive or misleading.
- We encourage our users to be active in helping our moderation team by flagging posts that are in violation of these Community Guidelines.
